Beehive is a compact Mutable Instruments Plaits clone for Eurorack systems. It delivers the full functionality of the original macro oscillator in a space-efficient 8HP format while maintaining complete firmware compatibility and sonic versatility.

The module provides a wide range of synthesis models including virtual analog, wavetable, FM, additive, physical modelling, granular and percussion synthesis. Rather than focusing on a single synthesis method, Beehive offers an extensive collection of sound engines that can be explored through a consistent and intuitive interface.

From traditional basses, leads and pads to experimental textures, percussion and physical modelling sounds, Beehive can serve as a complete voice for a Eurorack system. Integrated low-pass gate functionality and internal envelope generation allow the module to produce finished sounds with minimal external patching. Every Beehive module is assembled, calibrated and tested individually by Sylph Modular and can be flashed with the original Mutable Instruments firmware or compatible alternative firmware.
