Knit is a compact Mutable Instruments Plaits clone for Eurorack systems. It delivers the complete Plaits synthesis engine in an ultra-compact 6HP format, making it an ideal choice for performance cases, portable systems and space-conscious Eurorack setups.

The module provides a wide range of synthesis models including virtual analog, wavetable, FM, additive, physical modelling, granular and percussion synthesis. Rather than focusing on a single synthesis method, Knit offers a diverse collection of sound engines accessible through a unified and intuitive interface.

Despite its reduced footprint, Knit retains the sonic versatility that made Plaits one of the most popular Eurorack oscillators ever produced. It can generate traditional basses, leads and pads, as well as percussion, drones, textures and experimental sounds. Integrated low-pass gate functionality and internal envelope generation allow the module to function as a complete voice with minimal external patching.

Every Knit module is assembled, calibrated and tested individually by Sylph Modular and can be flashed with the original Mutable Instruments firmware or compatible alternative firmware.
