uBurst is a compact Mutable Instruments Clouds clone for Eurorack systems. It brings granular synthesis and real-time audio processing to a space-efficient 8HP format while preserving the functionality and sonic character of the original design.

The module transforms incoming audio into evolving textures, ambient soundscapes, pitch-shifted layers and granular clouds. Through continuous control of grain density, texture, size and pitch, uBurst allows simple audio sources to become complex evolving material suitable for ambient music, experimental synthesis, drones and live performance.

Beyond granular processing, uBurst also provides spectral effects, looping delay, pitch shifting and reverb-style processing, making it one of the most versatile audio processors available in Eurorack. Every uBurst module is assembled, calibrated and tested individually by Sylph Modular and can be flashed with the original Mutable Instruments firmware or compatible alternative firmware.
